Camps Bay Cape Town Rovos Zambia Safari Livingstone Chobe River To the bottom
After a long exhausting journey we finally arrived at the hotel which I heartily recommend
we pampered ourselves at the deck of the riverside bar and enjoyed the sunset
Next morning - Zebras outside our terrace!
after a quick breakfast we were picked up for our Elephant riding tour with SAFPAR
Here they come!
Serious instructions on how to behave!
Danny the elephant, you can read about him here http://safpar.com/zambezi-elephant-trails/
and me on Liwa
wait for me!
This was a hole different experience to "ride" an elephant totally different from "riding" in Asia
Danny says: Hey ! I want something to put in my mouth
and Liwa joined his request
and then we all were gathered in this cermony
Lets see what we have here?
I think there is no more, it is empty, do you "see"?
See you!
Okey Danny I have something for you now...
Hans in heaven with Danny
Back at the hotel for a quick lunch together with the Protaetia aeruginosa
and then we were on our way again
It took a while until I realized it was not Hans behind me...
Hello next adventure!
Helicopter tour
over the Victoria Falls
or also known as Mosi-oa-Tunya (The Smoke which Thunders) falling down into the Zambezi river
The spray from the falls typically rises to a height of over 400 metres and sometimes even twice as high
a constant rainbow
Victoria Falls is neither the highest nor the widest waterfall in the world but is classified as the largest based on its
combined width of 1,708 metres and height of 108 metres resulting in the worlds largest sheet of falling water!
It was absolutely breathtaking and I can highly recommend to do the tour by helicopter
Bye Livingstone Adventure
Back to the hotel we took a walk to the Victoria Falls National Park
and said hello to Mr Livingstone
a look at the map...
and then we were there in the middle of it
I felt small
and there was the rainbow, I almost could touch it!
Next day off for a river safari on the Chobe River
