Weeks before my 50th birthday my husband planted the seed for this trip.
On the 9th of September the aircraft of Icelandair flew from Copenhagen and took us safely down at Reykjaviks international airport Keflavik.
We spent two intensive and interesting days in Reykjavik trying to discover as much as we could, which we did,
before our flight to New York. Our arrival-day we just spent by sauntering around in the capital. |

Day one we had pre-booked a one day excursion.
It started with a 40 minutes busride from Reykjavik to the Blue Lagoon which turned out to be a hectic and expensive event. |
|
|
|
From the Blue Lagoon it was exactly the same bustrip back to Reykjavik, which was tedious.
Here we changed bus and headed off to |
